As promised: three pages this week! Didn't manage a fourth, sorry - it was far too hot! In this weather, drawing is no fun :(. Too sweaty.

I think I can say that I can make one or two pages for next Sunday, but none of what comes next has been written yet, so a short hiatus (for writing) is a possibility. I will do my best to avoid it, but I make no promises...

Arthur has pulled the sword from the stone. Having, in one swoop, freed several British slaves as well as the Irish warrior Morholt, Arthur and his men now try to make it home before they get caught by a Saxon patrol. But they haven't got far when they run into King Pellinore of the Jutes. Pellinore, fascinated by the fact that Arthur has succeeded in pulling the sword from the stone where everyone else has failed, proposes a deal. He will support Arthur's claim to the High King's crown and put an army at his disposal. In return, he asks that Arthur give him and his people land. But for Arthur, matters are not that simple...

Oh, great! The start of the idea of knighthood. You have done it very smoothly, very elegant. Created a link between the practical reality of war and leadership, and the ideal that is Arthur and Camelot.

I know, I know, with this format a post with a few pages each is really much better than just one page. But it's just not feasible anymore, now that I am no longer able to draw during train rides. More often than not, these days, I write during the week and draw the page on ... Sunday morning -_-.
