Oh dear. I still have a LOT of work to do in the last few days of my holiday. I need more pages! I blame the chainmail for my lack of progress. Too many rings!

Also, I never got round to sketching the new start I want for The Darkest Hour. It seems that in my three-week holiday, I managed to do even LESS than in last year's two-week holiday. What a wretched creature I am -_-.

Arthur receives an urgent request from a runaway slave boy: would he go and save the boy's enslaved family from their Saxon masters, pretty please? Cei for one doesn't think it is a good idea, but Arthur feels inspired...

What, do I hear a real artist criticising my ridiculous excuse for an ear?! Well have you ever...! ;P

-Seriously now: I think I see what you mean. Contrast is totally not my strong point; I'm noticing that again and again in my art classes. To make things even worse, my shading is kind of on and off in these pages. I give a finish to some things and none at all to others. It's the awkward (lack of) balance that results from the fact that these are pimped-up thumbnails. Which everyone keeps telling me is a really, really bad idea, but it's the only solution I have found to the fact that a) I want to post stuff, but b) I'm too slow to keep up any workable rhythm with polished, finished pages :(.
