Gawain Project: Brothers & Sisters, p. 160

Page 160!
161 should work out too, but I'm struggling with 162 :p. I'm doing my best.
And hey, look! Well-known Arthurian character enters the story today! (NB: I am not forgetting letters in Blondie's dialogue. I'm trying to give him an accent without "Me Tarzan, you Jane"-dialogue. Let's see how this works out.)
***
Arthur has pulled the sword from the stone. Having, in one swoop, freed several British slaves as well as the Irish warrior Morholt, Arthur and his men now try to make it home before they get caught by a Saxon patrol. But they haven't got far when they run into ... a Jute.

Concrit is still and always welcome :).
New page next Sunday! (if all goes well :p)

I watched the first episode of "Camelot" today. Eva Green is an obvious choice for Morgana, and I'm glad that someone gave her the role, but I found the script a bit strange - why make both Arthur and Morgana children of Uther?

-There is some good stuff in 'Camelot', but they did try to spice things up a bit in an HBO Game of Thrones sort of way that I tend to find unnecessary: good writing and acting doesn't need that sort of thing. Many people complained about the fact that Arthur isn't very ... exemplary in the series, but that is one of the things that I personally liked very much. He makes very sound judgements in matters of ruling, but his personal/love life is a bit of a shambles. But of course the best Arthurian tv is still Kaamelott!
Pellinore
Hmm, I don't remember - didn't they end up as friends?
I really like the way you use the colour red. When you started doing it, I wasn't sure it was a good idea, but I really like it. It gives depth in a subtle way.
Re: Pellinore
Yes, Arthur and Pellinore become friends. As you will have guessed, I'm setting Arthur up with a few well-known knights of the Round Table from the very start. In Malory he meets Pellinore early on; I have kept that, but added Morholt. You never get the story of how he joined Arthur's court in Malory - I really have no idea how that is supposed to have happened in classic sources. But Morholt and Pellinore both function as champions for Arthur in the days before Gawain and Lancelot, so I thought I'd bring them in, especially since Pellinore plays a crucial role in Gawain's development.
