Aaaaand another HP sketchdump...

These were done over the weekend, when it wasn't quite so hot :-). Today I did indeed get my ten degrees less, by the way, so there will be more comic tomorrow.

Anyhow: have some Snape, Dumbledore and Avery. Please excuse the garish colours - they are what happens when I get my hands on markers :/. Clearly I have no talent for working with markers at all. I have very few colours too, which is why Dumbledore is wearing pink and lilac. Hum.




No, I am not going to draw Snape with a beard from now on, and yes, I am aware that in the Potterverse wizards use wands and not staves (or whatever the plural of staff may be). it's just that I keep having crazy visions of Snape's post-canon life that involve him getting to be Durmstrang Headmaster (remember pr_snape), becoming the most powerful wizard since Dumbledore and going on amazing quests to retrieve dangerous magical artifacts for his Dark Arts collection (one of them being the Elder Wand which Harry neglects to destroy). This Snape grows a beard, just because. And if I were any good at plotting adventure stories, you would get to read about his exploits, but...


Trying out for Avery, who doesn't quite flow from my pen yet. I love him though :-).

Nice plot idea! Would like to read this. Well, I only wonder if someone who wasn't Durmstrang could actually became the Headmaster of the school.

Do you know who this Snape reminds me of? :D The bad guy in Aladdin - no idea how to spell his name, but maybe you know him. Jafar, or something?

Anyway, I think that the colours of Dumbledore's robes clash spectacularly - not everyone could manage something like that. ;) No, but honestly - I love Avery in the bottom left corner on the second sheet. Ah, HP sketch dumps, how I love you.

Hm...the beard makes Snape look like Karkaroff to me, too, but now that I'm thinking about him as headmaster of Durmstrang, it's growing on me. Love Avery at the bottom--what malevolent expression! M.

I think Dumbledore would wear pink and lilac robes. That sounds extremely probable to me.

Snape with a beard though, and in that collar... it looks like he's auditioning for the role of Ming the Merciless. :-)

I LOVE Snape's beard, and he needs a book! Unlike the others, I didn't think of Jafar, or even Karkaroff, but of Merlin and - again - of medieval kings and nobles. I think it suits him. And the pink and purple robes definitely suit Dumbledore. After all, he wears purple in canon. ;)

For some reason this has given me the giggles. Dumbledore in pink robes after Rowling declared him gay- too perfect for words. And Snape with a beard being compared to Jafar.

I'm so happy that I wasn't drinking anything when I opened this otherwise I'd have a very soggy desk!

I want to read the stories that come from that little rabid plot bunny! I happen to like Snape with a beard though not always. I agree that he could look too much like Karkaroff with one.
