I mentioned earlier that I spent the Easter week-end with Cecilia a. k. a. cabepfir. She is a wonderful person, as nice in real life as she is online, and we chatted away like there was no tomorrow :P. We also drew pictures together, which was quite special to me because I don't really have any other friends with whom I could spend time painting and drawing. In any case we needed FAR more time than there actually was, and I have no idea whether our joint Fudge/Umbridge picture will ever see the light of day... What we did manage was a picture exchange. Cecilia brought me a delightful Nietzsche-reading young Snape as a gift, and I drew her a black-and-white (and by comparison painfully simple) young Snape in return. With Cecilia's permission, I am posting both pictures here :-).

They are both rated G, and the scrumptious one is of course Cecilia's *g*.

Do you think we will ever see the Dark Mark on Alan Rickman's arm?
The man might as well not exist, for all the air time he gets.

I have no idea :/. I mean, why didn't we see it in GoF?! I don't understand the film people's decisions. Small wonder they have to split the DH movie in two: one half will have to be The Amazing Story of Severus Snape, Death Eater and Spy. Srsly.

Indeed, both are lovely. I've always had a soft spot for Nietzsche-reading Snape (cf. the story I wrote, which will probably soon be deleted).

NOOOOOOOOO don't delete it! If nothing else, you should leave it as a keepsake! I mean, think what a massacre it would be in Snape writing if all pre-DH Snape stories were taken down...

... therefore, to speak, and to avoid the first,
and then, in speaking, not to incur the last,
definitively thus I answer you:
your love deserves my thanks, but my desert
unmeritable shuns your high request.

lol! Thank you so much dear!

They are both really striking - gorgeous, in fact - but also more than a bit scary. Which is quite appropriate! thanks to both of you for sharing.

Scary? You mean Cecilia's young Snape is scarily handsome, right ;P?

I'm glad you like them. Thank you!

Scarily handsome, yes (but not impossibly so, IMHO. There is really nothing ins Snape's physical description that screams "ugly" to me - not even tho nose. It's his attitude that makes him seem so - and the poor posture as a teen doesn't help matters. But your young Severus looks as though he's up to something, and Cecilia's seems potentially dangerous - that's what i meant. And it *is* appropriate, isn't it?
