I have made three pencil drawings for the Half-Blood Prince Fest at snape_the_hbp - the comm's motto is "Quick! Before Jo kills him off!". I couldn't pass that by, could I, especially because I fear that the dear horrid Potions master is indeed toast :(. Anyway, I posted my first contribution today...

I didn't know about this community. Troubled indeed, and he looks quite uncomfortable. I can't help but feel sorry for him. (Of course you knew I'd say that!) Is that a shirt or long underwear under his robe? :-)

Heh heh... If anyone would pick up on it... It's definitely long underwear! :)

I found the comm through junediamanti, who recced it when it was only just set up. And because its motto touched a raw nerve, I of course signed up at once...

When I posted the drawing, I was afraid people would say the pose was unrealistic, but honestly, I've sat like that - though I must confess I didn't get to sleep much :/.

Yes, the worried eyebrows (like he's having a bad dream), the awkward tilt of his head, the scrunched shoulders--he looks so tense and unhappy.Poor dear. *just barely refrains from petting Snape and getting hexed*

Yes, I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend petting when he sleeps in circumstances like these... ;)

Do you like pencils like those, or are they too bold to your taste? (They're all just try-out for the real thing, of course :D...)
