Pottermore...

Against my better judgement, I 'enrolled' in Pottermore. For some reason which I don't understand, I got Sorted into Slytherin, too! Just when I thought I was a stereotypical Ravenclaw - but hey, I'm not exactly unhappy to be in Snape House.

HOWEVER -

I knew I shouldn't have done this, but I've become a tiiiiny bit obsessed with house points XD. Slytherin and Gryffindor are constantly hopping over each other. I couldn't fail to note that there are very simply more Gryffindors than Slytherins in Pottermore, so a Slytherin feels a sense of duty to work extra hard for the House Cup... The only problem is that I never play computer games and I am awfully bad at them. So even though I try, I'm not exactly winning a lot of points for my house.

*sob*

I'm on the Crabbe and Goyle spectrum of Slytherin!

PS: if anyone feels like friending me, my user name is (alas!) NewtFang646.

Well I didn't want to be a Slytherin. I'm a Ravenclaw at heart... but lots of my flist ended up in Slytherin.

I'm StrikePhoenix3943, which could be worse, as Pottermore names go. I somehow got sorted into Gryffindor, though, which is just Not Right. But then, as Dumbledore himself said, sometimes they sort too early.

I haven't got any house points. I must be the Neville. :-)

LOL! That would mean you'll go on to kill the Ebil Snake of Ebil, whereas I'll get eaten by my own curse :p. I know which I'd rather like!

Didn't you go looking for items to collect in the chapters of the first book? I collected some 40 house points that way and was pretty proud of myself, until another Slytherin on dA rather hurt my feelings by saying, "You haven't collected a lot of house points, have you?" She has more than 2,300 herself O_o. I'm guessing she's been around Pottermore longer than I. In the meantime, it has also dawned on me that she must be a devilishly good duellist and/or potions brewer. Me, I'm utterly lousy at Potions (so much so that I've more or less given up) and I lose about 85% of my duels XD.

Oh, it's tough being Crabbe & Goyle.

I only stuck with it until I got sorted. And I hate clicking to find hidden objects. I very rapidly realised that Pottermore wasn't really my cup of tea at all. :-)

Just wanted to share that this ravenclaw ended up in Slyterin too.

I started during the beta phase, and have wondereed if I sign up again if I'll be placed slytherin again.

Don't remember my user name, I've not had time to check it out for a few months.

I was proud of myself for keeping away from Pottermore at first, but in the meantime... Oh, I'm a horrible Slytherin who goes picking on little Hufflepuffs who are even worse than me at casting spells, in a desperate attempt to bring a meagre few points to my house! *weeps*

I shouldn't have got into this D:!

I didn't know the users from the beta phase would have to sign up again. This means that all the people who have a few thousand house points are glued to their computers and beating up n00bs like me at lightning speed, or what? XD

I might not have said that right we don't have to sign up again I am just curious to see if I would end up in a different house if I took the test again.

I'm a Ravenclaw who would have been honored to be in Slytherin, but who is grateful not to be in Gryffindor. Can't, at the moment, remember what my name is - it's something like SkyGold7114, which is pretty awful! I quite like NewtFang! Anyway, I will friend you with pleasure, though, after finding out what my house and wand were, I rather lost interest in the experience. It does seem very much aimed at children, and the extra tidbits Rowling gives us (the info about the Dursleys particularly set my teeth on edge) seem to encourage a facile and surfacy reading of the books. If surfacy is a word? Oh, well. You know what I mean.

Ha, I certainly do! But I was too curious to stay away... Now my membership of Slytherin House is bringing out the worst in me XD! And I'm frustrated because I'm bad at Potions. It's just not fair - I'd be great at Potions if it didn't involve a computer! ;-)
