Tired. No comment :p.

Though I might perhaps mention that I am currently reading the Mabinogion and enjoying it very much. I'm wondering if I should adapt my dialogue to some of the expressions that are used a lot. Then again, what would you say when my characters, too, start almost every sentence with "By my faith" or "Between me and God"? One of my favourites is Cai's oath, "By the arm of my friend". It's a Cai exclusive, the translator says, and seems to refer to Bedwyr. Isn't that just great?

All those oaths have become a bit quaint, haven't they. I do love it when people say, "Shame on your beard!", though. I have deliberately opted for modern dialogue to close the distance between the sixth and 21st centuries somewhat, but I guess that while I win some, I lose some too.

Feel free to discuss ;).

Arthur and his men are in Venta, where the Sword of Kings has remained stuck in a stone for ages. Just about everybody has a try at pulling it out, but of course you know that only one man will succeed...
