Still scurrying to draw more pages... I'm incorrigible. BUT at least I have made some progress with Arthur's speech. Which is something.

Last Saturday I had my first art class! It was fun - we had to draw stuff upside-down, which turned out to be far more difficult than expected. I actually managed to put a line in entirely the wrong direction and was quite shocked by that. And I made one fairly nice thing (a copy of a work by a South-African artist). It is still too early to say what kind of effect these classes will have on me, but I did enjoy myself.

What did astonish me is the number of my fellow students (we are around 20-25 on Saturday) who don't actually draw. Maybe they *can* draw, but they haven't even thought of trying before. They are in art class, but they have, so to speak, never held a pencil before. WHY are they in art class? Not that they don't have a right to be there - I just wonder what made them go there. I have been drawing mannikins on every stray sheet of paper since primary school and filled all my notebooks and handbooks in secondary school and university with little sketches. I cannot NOT draw. It's natural that I came looking for a class eventually. The weird thing would be if I were to take up athletics. Well, at least half of the people in my class are just like I would be on an athletics ... er ... space. I don't even know what it's called in English. Go figure. Well, they are like that. It puzzles me.

- Oh, and the statement "most people draw like comics artists, that is, not as they should" has already escaped my teacher's mouth. On the first day. Just saying.

Now on with the reason why I took up drawing in the first place: COMIC.

Arthur and his men have gone down south to steal cattle from the Saxons (of course the Saxons had stolen it in the first place!). The raid is a success, but Arthur feels that he is being spied on. Let's find out by whom - and why...
