Gawain Project: The Darkest Hour, 65-66
Saturday, 19 September 2009 06:28 pm- Sir Thomas Malory, Le Morte Darthur (1485)

Only two pages today, because I wanted to leave you with the second one for maximum impact. (I hope it works.)
WARNING, for those of you who view this at work and think your boss may get the wrong impression if he sees a naked sleeping woman on your screen:
Today's pages contain female nudity.
It's nice nudity, I like to think, and totally G, but I'm telling you just in case.
Now I'll go back to pondering the next two pages, which are proving to be not so easy, mainly because I don't want to ruin the effect of page 66.
Concrit is, as always, very welcome!
What went before
Ygraine has lost her husband and champion. She is now the sole ruler of Cornwall. But with her army shattered and King Uther's troops wreaking havoc all over the land, she is powerless in the face of her people's distress. Only one man can offer Cornwall protection: the High King Uther Pendragon. Too bad that he happens to be the last person of whom Ygraine would want to ask a favour...
