I made it! But I nearly didn't. The first two days of the week I didn't do any drawing on the train. Instead, I wrote down the dialogue in a notebook. When I have a lot of text, I need to sort it out before I start drawing - especially because I invariably have a lot of trimming and condensing to do. This time the drawing wasn't easy either, and I think it shows, especially on page 19. Fortunately it gets better :-).

At this moment, the story isn't coming fluently (as opposed to the first 18 pages). This is still about what goes where, how this episode will end and where the next will begin. The idea is not to follow little Gawain every step of his education, but to provide a background for his future adventures. It is difficult to find the right pace and info dosage. I'm afraid you'll have to bear with me while I struggle...

Concrit is still welcome, of course :-).

What went before:
Gawain learns that the men he has found scattered on the forest floor have been struck down by a spell his aunt has placed on the valley. Any unfaithful men who wander into the forest fall asleep and become Morgana's prisoners. That is not the case for Gawain, fortunately. Fascinated by his strange aunt, he goes along voluntarily...
