Happy Birthday, Severus Snape!

It seems that I am establishing a new personal tradition of knitting for the greasy professor's birthday... I can't help it! It's the date that does it to me. I just think he should keep warm... *g*

Well, I knitted him a collar this time, and sent it to him at his hidey-hole. Here is photographic evidence that he duly received it:

I have been taught that it is bad manners to look a gift horse in the mouth, so there seems nothing for it but to thank you for your present. However, might I suggest a rich chocolate cake next year? Surely it must be obvious even to you that you are better at baking than at knitting. Besides, my spouse knits wonderfully but fails hopelessly at fabricating anything comestible, and always having to produce one's own birthday cake gets wearisome.
