Severus Snape has entered the tunnel under the Whomping Willow, having been lured there by Sirius Black. He already finds himself rather near the Shrieking Shack when he is joined by James Potter, who claims that they are both in grave danger. Seconds later, Snape finally understands just what that means and how he has been tricked: he has been sent to meet a werewolf at the full moon! Scared witless, he scrambles frantically towards the tunnel’s exit…
