Sigune has:

- seen HBP: The Movie;
- liked HBP: The Movie;
- realised that Snape is one of those characters she will never be able to shake off.

*thinks Snapey thoughts*

That seems to be true of me as well, but it has nothing to do with the film. I'm one of the few people who didn't enjoy it very much.

For me it's not really related to the film either. It's just that my way of watching the film made me realise that Snape is here to stay :-).

I read your comments and actually agree with just about all of them. It just didn't stop me enjoying myself. I don't know why!

Lucky you. :)

*g*

I think this was about the first time I was actually unconcerned about all the crucial stuff that has been left out of the film, plot-wise. It's probably naive of me, but I just assume they'll give it a place in the next instalment, seeing as there are actually two.

... Re-reading what I just wrote, and having seen the previous films, I realise that I am being very naive indeed :P.

You're probably a bit overly optimistic, but I suppose that is really my problem. I was sceptical about HBP and, indeed, I didn't enjoy it that much. I now wonder whether it wasn't some kind of self-fulfilling prophecy. If I had managed to watch the film without expecting anything at all - neither good or bad - I might feel different now. Oh well, there are two more films to do better. :)

I'm always thinking Snapey thoughts. For instance, I think I love the word 'Snapey'. *nods*

I loved HBP, too. Tom and Rupert were stellar! And I almost cried over Slughorn's little fish story.
I was disappointed in how restrained Mr. rickman was in his critical scenes. *pouts* I really wanted to see him furious. Oh well.

Yes, I agree. [livejournal.com profile] veradee also remarked on the way Rickman delivers his lines, pausing (all the time!) in places where a normal person wouldn't - it struck me as being quite over the top. But I did like his expressions, particularly in the Unbreakable Vow scene.

Also agreed on Tom Felton and Rupert Grint. It's the first time I'm impressed with the young actors, barring Emma Watson, ahem.

Ive noticed myself looking for Snape-analogues in the novels I've been reading since.
