Okaaayyy... I haven't been able to connect to LJ for a few days in a row, and according to websitenotworking.com it's working for everyone else... This is not fun.

So, um, if anyone is waiting for a reply from me: I can't reply. Technically impossible. I wanted to post about my gift at hoggywartyxmas, but I can't get the link because I have no access to the site anymore ;_;. So, um, go read my gift story! But you'll have to find it for yourself :(.

LJ is experiencing troubles, but not for everyone; it partly depends on the ISP (for those with no access at all) and obviously also other problems. I can access LJ itself as well as my own pages, profile, and individual's pages, but not a singe comm. They're doing something at LJ because of increased malware trouble, but some of us seem to be completely left out.

Thank you for explaining! I feel a little reassured now. I don't have access to anything at all, not even my own pages, and though I saw some mention of the ISP, I feel a bit bewildered because I don't even know what the ISP is :p. I feared it meant that I had to do something to fix it, but I haven't a clue what!

That reminds me, I have been having trouble crossposting to LJ too (when I still had access, to be sure :D); I need to see if I can sort that out...

Your ISP is the comapny that you get internet access from. They've had to block some of them to stop attacks from certain regions. Crossposting will be messed up as long as LJ is having trouble, unfortunately.

Do you remember the title of your story? I have the hoggywarty page open, so I can get the link for you. (Unfortunately, LJ is not working well for me - it occasionally loads, but it's taking forever and giving a lot of errors. Basically LJ is screwing up for most people, but more for some than for others.)

LOL - I have difficulty imagining LJ being under attack from Belgium, but what do I know ;). I guess I can't do much except wait for LJ to sort things out...

Thank you for helping me out with the story! It posted on 27 December (I have been sick these past days, hence the lateness of the rec). I don't know the *exact* title, but it is close to "On Forgiving". I wanted to go back for a re-read but ... well, we know how that worked out. It's a Happy New Year with LJ ;).

You know, for once I was actually following quite well! Then on the 30th I started getting error messages. Now I have to try and catch up...

But what am I whining about - it's much more annoying for you! Funny though, that the situation seems to differ from house (...well, firewall) to house. In any case, I hope LJ get its act together soon -_-. How dare they disrupt Hoggywarty! Seriously. No respect for tradition >:-(.

Oh me too! Only, this journal doesn't get nearly as much traffic as my LJ, so if I say "sorry people, can't read, can't post", the message doesn't actually reach most of those people :P.

I'm also annoyed because I want to start posting comic pages again and LJ is my "home base" - all links point there. I guess that's about to change >:-(.

- Lookit! At this moment - for the first time in four days - the Hoggywarty page is actually loading! Okay, it never *stops* loading, but I haven't caught so much as a glimpse of it since last Saturday, so that's a definite improvement. Of course it's bed time now, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be there tomorrow...
