This weekend I have only line art for you. The idea is to colour it, but since I spent the best part of today doing the inks, I find I haven't the time to finish it before the end of the weekend... It's not that this drawing is particularly complex, but it *is* time-consuming. Probably just because I am really slow -_-.
I pencilled Lord Ned and his Lady Cat last Monday, on my day off, and transferred the drawing to watercolour paper. Today, while doing the inks, I made quite a few small corrections, so here's to hoping the paper hasn't suffered too much, or my painting is doomed before I start :/.
I used reference for Cat's dress, for Ice and for Ned's plate armour. Platemail and longswords rock ;P.
I'm not sure that the picture will end up doing what I want it to do... More about that when I've done the colours.
State of the ASoIaF:
Arrived at page 208 of A Feast for Crows.
Still can't stand Cersei Lannister.
Am rather liking Jaime Lannister.
Wish Olenna Tyrell had more page time XD.
Want to read more about Sansa Stark.
Am rooting for Asha Greyjoy, "Iron Girlpower" :P.
Want to know Littlefinger's motives.
Wonder where Doggie Clegane wandered off to.
Where is my little Bran? And my Hodor?*

Me, I'm actually <i>relieved</i> to have some 'boring' chapters, because at least that means that there are some places in these books where people don't get raped, tortured and/or gruesomely murdered. Oh, good news: even Book Five seems to be peppered with tidbits about Eddard Stark. I was afraid that was going to go away as the story progressed, but no. Ha, Ned - even dead he's still my favourite character XD.

I've just started A Dance with Dragons. And I don't want to see anything bad happen to my little Stark! So far he's trotting around with this dead bloke... Doesn't look too great... D:
