Gawain Project: Brothers & Sisters, 58-60

"While Taliesin sang a great storm of wind arose, and the castle shook with the force of it. Then the King bade Elphin be brought in before him, and when he came, at the music of Taliesin's voice and harp the chains fell open from themselves and he was free."
- T. W. Rolleston, Celtic Myths and Legends (1911)

I have filled another Moleskine journal (number four). Time to start a fresh one!

What went before
If you bring the Kings of Britain together for a debate about who is supposed to be the new High King, you can bet that some nasty fighting will ensue. And so it does. Two little boys are watching as their fathers roll across the floor of the great hall...

Thank you for those kind words! I have more enthusiasm than skill, and it really makes me happy if what I make gives people some pleasure :).

If I have to be honest, I don't like that much the way Agravain attacks G&O here - it's unclear whether the "Raaah!" comes from him or from the riot behind him (also because it's written in red and not in black as the other speech bubbles) and, if he is running, his arms can't be both stretched forward (his right arm should be behind him). In friendship, as always.

I know, silly XD!

I guess it does look a bit odd, but it would have looked odd too if you only saw one arm. I suppose a different camera angle would have been better, but I'm not sure how to pull that off. I'm so damned limited.

Yes, probably a different angle, possibly diagonally-oriented either toward G&O or toward Agravain.

Yesterday I drew Harry Potter for the first time in... five years? Lol.
