I don't know what happened, but yesterday, for the first time in ages I felt the sudden urge to write a new part to Art of Darkness - you know, my infamous WIP. It's some 1500 words, and it is, alas, not the beginning but a scene I hadn't really planned. I like it so far.
I suppose that this means I should just learn to live with my chaotic writing process… My muse is wily (which is irritating), but at least she does show her face now and then :-).
I also submitted Luna Number One to SH for the Deathday Festival. A fragment is behind the cut, as a small preview.

The version I submitted is in colour. I really couldn't decide which was best, the colour or the b/w, so I followed the advice of friends – hopefully I made the right choice :-).
I especially like how Luna's face came out. I deliberately made it slightly asymmetrical, which, I feel, enhances the ‘dottiness’ of her appearance.

I'm not quite sure about the success of my colours, so this may very well be the best version...

Hmmm...I'd have to see the colour one to comment which I like better. I love doing black and whites as of late...but always feel odd when there is a white background and the person has light coloured hair. The white on white blends too much.
I like the simplictity of your Luna with only the eyes coloured. It adds to it alot.
