Multifaceted Awards

Right. I'll follow [livejournal.com profile] aerynstales's example and pimp my own Multifaceted nomination :-). Voting for the Awards is now open, so if you feel like wasting a vote on my As She Likes It (for the really innocent readers among you, it's R-rated and SS/OFC) in the Endurance category for challenge entries, then please be my guest and go here. I'll never know if you don't, and I won't win anyway, but if you haven't done your good deed for today, you might consider this ;-).

I have just got my very own computer since Sunday, and moving all my files I started to dip into my fics again. The number of unfinished stories on my hard drive is depressing ;-). Anyway - I have come to think that Mirror Mirror is really one of the best things I ever wrote; but I suppose that now that HBP overtook it, it is doomed to oblivion. Too bad.

If anyone here is interested in letting me know their opinion, I'd love to hear which of my stories (or art, if you like that better) you liked best, and why... Just curiosity :-).

I voted! ;-D

I'm a horrible flister, I know. I've only read two of your fics: As She Likes It and Dark Night of the Soul. I really enjoyed both of them ... that is, both of them made me feel as if Snape had come alive with all of his imperfections and issues. You are very skilled at understanding this character and making him human. It's quite easy to make him into cruel villain or misunderstood hero (I tend to read and write the latter). I will read more of your stories soon. I'll check out Mirror Mirror first.

Good luck with the Multifaceted Awards ... hope you win!

Thanks for the vote! I have no illusions about winning; the competition with WIKKT and Ashwinder and such is probably murder :-). On the other hand, I still don't know who nominated me, so if I have a mystery admirer, maybe I have mystery voters too, LOL.

"The Dark Night" and "As She Likes It" both have a very self-centered Snape, I think - I mean, I always write him as self-centered, but these two are almost cocoonish. This is the limit to my fanficcing: it's really Snape-Snape-Snape and his perspective on the Potterverse that fascinates me. I don't seem to be able to do anyone else's. "Mirror Mirror" is one of I think two stories in all that are written from another character's perspective; that's probably one of the reasons why it feels so special to me when I go back to it :-).
